# How is the slow-moving stock calculated in the app

Filters**Slow Moving Stock** refers to inventory items that sell at a slower rate than expected or desired. Unlike fast-moving stock, which is regularly sold and replenished, slow-moving stock lingers in inventory for an extended period. These items may eventually become aging stock or dead stock if not managed effectively.

## Terms and formula

* **SKU**: Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier for your product variants.

* **Product published date**: when the product has been published on Shopify.

* **Zero sales days**: how many days the product had no sales.

* **Inventory quantity**: the current stock levels of each product.

* **Inventory value**: the current inventory at the cost of each product.

* **Retail value**: the current inventory at selling price of each product.

* **Last order date**: the last time that product had sales.

## Filters and conditions

* By default, this report shows the products had no sales more than 30 days (the zero sales days > 30). However, you can change this filter condition to get the list of products that had no sales in 90 days for example.
