How to filter the report by product metafield
Problem:
Shopify provides the product metafields to allow merchants adding custom information to product e.g supplier_sku an extra supplier info.
And then you need to track the sales or inventory of a certain metafield. Please follow steps below.
Step 1: Open report sales by product
You can try the sales by product report from here: https://my.assisty.ai/reports/3/sales-performance/97
Step 2: Add product metafields to the report
Click on the extra function at the top right of the report
Choose "Add more Columns"
Choose column "Product Meta Fields"
Click on the extra function at the top right of the report again
Choose "Edit Columns"
Check on the metafield that you want to filter by
Click on the "Apply Changes" button
Step 3: Add filter
Click on the Add filter at the left sidebar
Select the metafield column in the filter column dropdown e.g. supplier_sku, choose the condition and then fill the values
Click on the "Apply" button
Step 4: Save the report with filters
Click on the extra function at the top right of the report
Click on the "Save as new report"
Fill the name of the report, and then click on the Save.
After saved the report, you can access it later in the left menu "My Reports".
