What is incoming inventory?

Incoming inventory represents the quantities of products currently in purchase orders that are awaiting delivery to your stores. This helps you see not just what's on your shelves, but what's on its way.

Where does incoming inventory come from?

You can connect your incoming inventory through any of these options:


- Assisty Purchase Orders (default)

Create purchase orders directly in Assisty — the on-order quantities are automatically counted as incoming inventory.



- Shopify Purchase Orders

Create purchase orders directly in Shopify — Assisty automatically pulls the incoming inventory data from them.


- Stocky Purchase Orders

If you use Stocky, create your purchase orders there and Assisty will sync the incoming inventory automatically.


- Google Spreadsheet

Prefer to manage it manually? We provide a Google Spreadsheet template where you can enter incoming quantities for each product variant. learn more...


- QuickBooks Purchase Orders

Create purchase orders in QuickBooks and Assisty will pull the incoming inventory for you.


How often is incoming inventory updated?

Assisty syncs your incoming inventory automatically once per day. Need an immediate update? Use the Force Sync button to pull the latest data instantly.
