Sales by Product Collection
The Sales by Product Collection report in Assisty provides valuable insights into the performance of your product collections, allowing you to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions. With this report, you can track key metrics such as orders count, units sold, gross sales, profit margin, and more for each product collection in your inventory.
Step 1: Accessing the Report
Log in to your Assisty account.
Navigate to the Report Library section.
Look for the "Sales Performance" category or use the search function to find the Sales by Product Collection report.
Click on the report to open it.
Step 2: Exploring the Report Interface
Once the report is opened, you will see a table displaying the product collections and their corresponding sales metrics.
Each row represents a different product collection.
The columns show various metrics such as orders count, units sold, net units sold, gross sales, discount amount, return amount, total sales, profit margin %, AOV, and customers count.
Step 3: Applying Filters
To narrow down the data displayed in the report, you can apply filters based on your specific criteria.
Collection: Use this filter to select specific product collections to focus on.
Product: Filter the report by specific products or search for products by name.
Product Variant: Filter the report by specific product variants.
Sales Channel: Filter the report based on the sales channel, such as web or POS.
Store Location: Filter the report by specific store locations or warehouses.
Vendor: Filter the report by specific vendors.
Product Type: Filter the report by the type of product, such as "Men," "Women," or "Kids."
Product Status: Filter the report based on the status of the product, such as "Active," "Archived," or "Draft."
Date Range: Specify a specific date range to focus on sales within that period.
Step 4: Interpreting the Metrics
Orders Count: Total number of orders associated with each product collection.
Units Sold: Total quantity of units sold for each product collection.
Net Units Sold: Units sold after accounting for returns.
Gross Sales: Total revenue generated from the sales of products within each collection.
Discount Amount: Total amount of discounts applied to the sales of products within each collection.
Return Amount: Total value of returns associated with the products in each collection.
Total Sales: Net revenue generated from the sales of products within each collection.
Profit Margin %: Profitability of the products within each collection, expressed as a percentage.
Average Order Value (AOV): Average value of orders placed for the products within each collection.
Customers Count: Total number of unique customers who made purchases within each collection.
Step 5: Interactive Actions
Copy Value: Clicking on any data cell allows you to copy the value for further use.
Filter by Value: Clicking on a data cell enables you to filter the report based on that specific value.
View Sales Overview: Clicking on the name of a product collection provides an overview of the sales for that collection.
View Sales Reports by Product: Clicking on a product collection allows you to view the sales reports for the individual products within that collection.
View Sales Reports by Variants: Clicking on a product collection allows you to view the sales reports for the variants of products within that collection.
View Detailed Dashboard: Clicking on a product collection allows you to view the detailed dashboard specific to that collection.
By utilizing the Sales by Product Collection report, you can gain insights into the performance of your product collections, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies. Regularly monitor and analyze these metrics to maximize the effectiveness of your product offerings and drive business growth.
