Adding Pivot Columns

Understand how to pivot your data by adding pivot columns to organize and summarize information in a different structure.

Assisty provides the ability to add pivot columns to your reports, allowing you to analyze your data from multiple dimensions within a single view. With pivot columns, you can easily compare and analyze different aspects of your data side by side. Follow the steps below to add pivot columns to your report:

Navigate to the report page you want to customize in Assisty.
Look for the configuration section, which is typically located in the top right corner of the report page.
Access the column management options within the configuration section. This will allow you to manage the columns displayed in your report.
In the column management options, locate the "Add Pivot Column" feature. This feature enables you to select a dimension or attribute that you want to pivot your data on.
Choose the desired dimension or attribute for your pivot column. For example, if you are viewing the sales by product and want to compare the unit sold of each product across different store locations, select "Product" as the pivot column.
Specify the metric or measure that you want to associate with the pivot column. In this case, select the metric "Unit Sold."
Once you have selected the pivot column and associated metric, Assisty will automatically update the report to include the pivot column and display the corresponding data.
Analyze the report with the added pivot column to gain insights into the relationships and comparisons between different dimensions in your data.

Conclusion

By adding pivot columns to your report, you can easily compare data across different dimensions within the same view. This feature allows you to perform in-depth analysis and uncover valuable insights by examining your data from various perspectives.
